In this post I’m sharing one of my absolute favorite cleansing recipes- the Ginger Kale Green Beauty Juice. It’s the perfect little detox for creating beauty from the inside out.

It’s so good for the body and your skin that I call it “Beauty Juice.” This staple juicing recipe is one of my favorite delicious concoctions when I need to give my body a break (and a boost).

Kale and ginger are rich in antioxidants and overflowing with anti-inflammatory properties. What does this mean for you? You’re sipping on the perfect anti-aging elixir. Add a little lemon in there, and you’ve not only boosted digestion but also immunity!

It tastes most refreshing when served chill, so enjoy immediately. And I promise you will want to. Oh, and be sure to choose organic produce for your green beauty juice. This way you’ll eliminated unnecessary exposure to toxins from pesticides.

Kale Green Beauty Juice

GINGER KALE BEAUTY JUICE

  • Author: Erica Jones MHS

Description

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Juicer

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 to 4 inch piece of ginger

Instructions

  1. Chop the kale, stems and all, seed and chop the apple and peel the lemon. I don’t worry about peeling the ginger, but you can if you choose.
  2. Add all items to your juicer bit by bit and stir the final mixture to fully blend the juices.
  3. Serve right away or refrigerate for a couple of hours and serve chilled. This is a great drink to refresh and gently detox your body. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amounts of the ingredients. I typically add more ginger, but if you just want a hint of it then add a 2-inch piece. If you’re new to juicing and need it to be more sweet, add a little bit more apple.
